What if I don't have enough points?

We are very generous with points, and in the event you don't have enough points we pay 15 points per hour for voluteering during a SWAP event or during regular business hours. There are also situations where you can apply for a points scholorship in order to get some additional points gifted to you. Please reach out to us and let us know if you need a points scholorship application.

What if I don't have items to bring in?

Did you know that 80% of the American closet hasn't been worn in the last year? We find that we have more items hanging around not getting love than we realized. However, if you are in a situation where you don't have enough items (or any items to bring in) you can apply for our points scholarship. Please just reach out to us and we can help you get an application.

How does the points system work?

Points are based on an A, B and C system. A items are larger name brands and or sustainable brands and they get more points if they are new and have tags vs if they have visible wear. B items are items that are less sustainable brands or that are fast fashion pieces. You’ll get more points for a new item with tags than one that has visible wear. All upcycle and family (mens/children's) items are C items and get 1 point. All points are the same on the intake as they are when you take them out. For example, if you bring in 10 items new with tags you will get 100 points. If you take out 10 items new with tags you will use 100 points.

What is the process for this program?

Gather items that are new, gently worn, you don’t wear, don’t like, AND the items that are broken, torn, damaged, stained or don’t need/want and bring them ALL in to “SWAP” for new to you items. Each item (even the damaged and worn out items) get assigned a points value within our system, we calculate, add up and give you your points and then you can shop the swap and take out as many items as you have points for! No money exchanged outside of your monthly or annual membership. We desire to keep our clothing in circulation longer by supporting slow fashion, be kind to our pocket books while also supporting and developing a keen fashion sense and style! You can also bring any and ALL textile items (stuffed animals, rags, underwear, and clothing) you would have thrown in the garbage to be upcycled as well. Our team will clean, deconstruct and use these items to create new things that are valuable again! One of the main aspeccts of our mission is to keep items OUT of the landfill!!! We need your help! Please support our little BIG impact startup!

Is this exclusive to Montana?

Yes. We are currently working hard to get an infrastructure set up so we can expand and offer it in different areas of the country.

What does a membership cost?

There are currently 2 tiers and a third coming.

THRIFTY  - $15/per month or $150 annually (Save 2 months) This includes unlimited swapping any time we are open. The $15 a month is set up on an auto withdrawal so you don't have to think about it and we can build a beautiful relationship where we help you get the most from your membership. The annual is your best value, but we understand that budgeting is sometimes a concern.

**Memberships are per person. Everyone 13 years and older needs to have a membership similar to a gym.** **Student memberships are $7.50 a month or $75 for the year. You can set that up in store.**

SUSTAINABLE - $25/per month or $250 annually (Save 2 months) This includes everything in the Thrifty membership and includes a Private SWAP party and 4 personal shopping sessions with one of our personal shoppers to help you develop and design the perfect capsule for your wardrobe per year ($500 value).

Premier - coming soon.

How do I know how many points I have?

We use Square Retail for our Point of Sale system and they use Cash App to manage loyalty, so that is where you can track your points. As soon as you have an account created and we have inventoried your items we add them to your account and they stay with you for the life of your account, unless you cancel your membership. You will never lose your points.

Where are you located?

Our physical location is 2500 Grand Ave; Suite N in Billings Montana.

What items do you take?

We take clothing, jewelry, shoes, purses & bags, accessories and all textiles like bras, underwear, blankets, curtains, rugs, and bedding. Some of those items are not swappable if they are not new, however we will upcycle them or get them to people and places that can use them.

Can my daughter, sister, or friend use my points?

If your daughter is under the age of 12 you can shop for her and or she can use your points. However, if you are swapping for yourself and for a child age 13 or over there is a $10 add on for each person you have in your house. If anyone from your house wants to come and shop on their own they need to have their own membership.  Because we are membership based we are similar to a gym where everyone needs to have their own membership. For anyone who doesn't have a membership they can pay a fee of $20 to swap one time. If you want to transfer points to this person or another person we can do that, but they still need to have their own membership or pay the non-member fee. We feel we have made the cost reasonable enough for everyone to participate and we are very confident in-that decision. We also have a responsibility to our other members to ensure we can stay open and if we don't have everyone paying that is using our service we are not honoring that responsibility.

What if I am from out of town or just want to come a few times per year?

If you are from out of town or only plan to swap a few times per year you can pay the single swap fee of $20 and choose up to 10 items.

Can I just donate and not shop or swap?

Not at this time! We desire to be a more sustainable place to donate, however we are a small company and need financial support at this stage in our business more than anything else. Most people do not know that 60% of items donated to charities, and donation facilities are not resalable to their client and often end up in a landfill in a third world country. We ensure the items you donate DO NOT get shipped over seas and or end up in a landfill. You are supporting a wonderful mission and vision.  If you just desire to have a better more sustainable place to donate, we are your solution! Please consider supporting our mission if you believe in what we are doing even if you don't want to swap or shop. We appreciate you so much!

What is a private SWAP Party and how does it work?

This is one of the BEST experiences we can have as women. We never have a chance to shop in a safe and 10 to 15 people, anyone can attend even if they do not have a membership. Each person gets 50 bonus points to shop with and you have up to 4 Hours of thrifting/playing dress up in our store in a safe and inclusive space. Choose from a special seasonal menu that includes wine and or other non-alcoholic beverages, snacks - GF and or other dietary needs honored upon request. We curate a playlist so the music fits YOUR vibe and our team is there to be of service to you however you desire! Personal shopping support, female empowerment, themes, and or color ideas for you and your group. Membership discounts for anyone who desires to become a member during your event.
